Glaukè is the colour of the deep sea for the ancient Greeks, the colour of the waters the eye cannot pierce. They liked it so much, they saw such power in it, they placed it into the eyes of the goddess Athena as she contemplates designs far beyond the grasp of mortal minds.

When she does not stir the swell under the ships, you can spot Glaukè resting quietly in a creek.
